McQueen In Love

Inspired by one of my favourite fashion designer, Alexander McQueen, this doll couture probably will be my last dress which I produced while I am in vet school just because I will be graduated very soon! Well, only if I can be able to pass my comprehensive examination which coming soon on June. So, wish me good luck! I always love McQueen work cause they are always full with drama, details and it is something that will catch your eyes and say WOW! His creativity blows our minds every single time. I guess this has to be one of my tribute to Alexander McQueen. I will always miss your design. Specially for this dress, I had make a video for it. If you had followed my works all these while, you will know that this is the 2nd NiGel.ChiA BJD Couture Ad I produced, which focusing on the details of the dress and in contrast with the nature. So, without futher a do, let's enjoy NiGel.ChiA McQueen In Love Ad now.

The Rose D'or Deva Doll

This is the 1st time I am holding a Deva doll in my hands, it is just unbelievable, she have the most desire feature and body with the greatest posability compare to other dolls I had before, well what could I say? She is just fabulous! I have been commissioned to create a whole new look for this Deva doll, including a new face up, hair style and of course not forgetting a NiGel.ChiA couture outfit for her. This transformation took me a few months to complete, due to my heavy schedule of school as well as my other commissions. Anyway, I really enjoy working on her and the sad thing is that I am going to say good bye to her very soon. Her face has been refined, with higher cheek bone, sharper jaw line, some nose and lips job too. I have given her green eyes, with smoky eyes and extra long eyelashes. Tibet Mohair is always my choice for the hair. Raw umber colour hair matches her slightly tan skin tone the best. Beside the face up, her whole body is fully blushed too, with manicure and pedicure. The dress is inspired by the flora, the golden rose particularly which shows in the flower pleated detail on the skirt. As usual, I always fascinated with huge volume dress to create the dramatic look, so with this dress! The doll would not be completed without a pair of heels. The molding of the high heels base took me around 1 week, and it was sent for resin casting. The heels look great after painted and some detail design. So, without further ado, I will like to present NiGel.ChiA 1st OOAK Deva Doll, The Rose D'or.

The Nude Couture

It's been quite a long while after my 2011 fall winter collection, I think it's been about 2 months without touching my fabric and sewing machine. Finally after all the assignment, test and academical stuff, I have some free time to sit down and indulge in my fashion design world again, it feel really great indeed! The concept of this couture is all about nude, mysterious and sexy. It covered up the whole body, but yet it revealed almost the entire body with semi transparent chiffon as well as laces. The feathers design is my favourite, it added a more dramatic touch to the gown. The halter mermaid dress craved the curve of female body perfectly and it seemed to have some degree of connection to my previous collection.Yesterday, I bought a new lens for this shoot, an EF 55mm f/1.8 II canon lens, and I am overwhelmed by the effect of f/1.8, it makes my model pops out! I hope you all enjoy my lastest design, till then XO XO......

Indian goddness in traditional saree

Merinda is an Indian blood lady, the moment she put on the saree that I design, she rock the dress! With her darker skin tone and classic Indian feature, she just transformed into an indian princess. For this time, I have made more jewelleries for her to complete her look. It does look a lot different with those jewelleries! The combination of blue and gold create a contrast on her skin tone, making her stand up in the grassland! The photo shooting is done on the morning where the lighting is perfect, soft natural sunlight making the photos look great and I don't have to stand under the hot sunlight to take her photo and sweating! It feels so good with this kind of weather. The photoshoot last about 1 and a half hour and around 200++ photo being taken. I am very satisfied with the result. I think Merinda enjoying wearing the saree and dance on the grassland too!Photobucket
