It is end of year 2011 and here come the New Year of 2012. In accordance to the Christmas and new year holiday, I have come out with my new Spring 2012 Haute Couture Collection specially design for 16' Avant Guard Dolls. I have bought a new Spring Kissed AG doll recently and with my 2 AG dolls, it makes up 3 now which are perfect to be my new collection models. I have repainted my Frame Freeze and Spring Kissed AG dolls so that they looked more like a high fashion models. This collection is all about pastel colour, which I seldom done, big volume, textures, layers and dramatic touch. The designs symbolize flowers, and blossom in the woods which bring up the mood of spring. As usual, crystals and beads won't be absent in any of Nigel Chia design, it brings up the shine to the gowns and create the glam. 2011 had been a very good year for me, I will like to send million of thanks for all the supports and without you all, I couldn't have gone so far. Last but not least, I am satisfied to end my 2011 year with this collection and wishing for all the best in coming year. Happy New Year for all of you! 
My New 16' Avant Guard Dolls
Introducing 2 recent new dolls that join my doll family. The 1st one is AG recent released Spring Kissed doll which have her body modified and it looked very amazing with more realism touch. I named her Nouvelle Annee which meant New Year in French. Another sweet heart is a Frame Freeze doll, which I bought it quite a while ago but recently get it repainted and wig. She is named Natale, which meant Christmas in Italian. I have also done a tattoo on Natale's chest with my logo motive. It looked very artistic indeed. Both of them looked amazing after the repaint and full body blushing and now they are ready to join Valentine for high fashion photo shoot.

It was 14th of Feb when I start to repaint the AG Attenttion! 16' fashion doll where I bought recently, thus I decided to name it as Valentine! She is again a 2nd hand doll I bought form The Doll Page in a very good price. I was always overwhelmed by the high fashion feature of AG doll but unfortunately I am not a fans of their factory make up, that is why I decided to have it all repaint with full body blushing to create my 1st OOAK AG doll. It took me around 1 week to finish up all her face up, body blushing as well as sewing a new wig for her. Valentine’s make up is inspired by Keira Knightley's ads for Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle scent back in 2009. It had a chocolate brown shade of eye shadow with purplish pink lips and pinkish blush. I was just amaze looking at Keira Knightley’s face and I think Valentine have a similar bone structure. A few days of afford in repainting, the result came out just as I imagine, Valentine transform from a toy look fashion doll into a realism gorgeous looking high fashion doll now. Next, Is time for making a wig for her now! I just bought a piece of natural mohair from China and it was used to sew her wig. One of the advantage of using mohair as the material but not the fiber hair is that mohair wig resemble human hair where I can style the hair in any way I love as every part of it is cover by mohair, but the bad side of it is mohair tend to be too fluffy, so it is a need to style it with some hair product to give a neat and heavy look. The wig is sew in the way resemble the natural hairline of human and it was attached to the head of Valentine with double sided tape inside. It allows me to style his hair without worrying the wig detaching from her head and it make things easier! Initially, the wig is in honey lemon or blonde, but the hair colour didn’t suit Valentine at all, so I decided to dye her hair with fabric dye into reddish brown which match her eyebrow perfectly and she turn into a exotic red hair bombshell immediately! The hair colour does influence her overall look! Finally it is time to have her body blushed to give her the natural body colour as in human.I had sprayed her whole body with Mr Super Clear Flat spray before doing all the blushing including the manicure painting and finished up with another layer of flat spray to protect the blushing. Well, Valentine is all done now and ready to have her 1st beauty photoshoot as a usual tradition in NiGel.ChiA Production!
